As a Presbyterian Church, our form of government is quite simple. Our ruling body is called the Session, composed of (1) Ruling Elders who have been elected by the members of the congregation at their annual meeting early in the year and ordained to the position of Ruling Elder by current and former Ruling and Teaching Elders, and (2) a Teaching Elder (the minister) who has been previously ordained by a Presbytery of the United Presbyterian Church of the U.S.A., and has been called by the congregation to lead us.
Responsibility for the work and mission of the church is divided into committees, each of which is chaired by at least one member of the Session.
